I don't have much time left for reading books. Still this post is about a book, it's actually sort of a book review. But, considering the fact that I have two very small children and that I prioritise surfing knitting blogs, reading mail and most of all knitting it's kind of easy to realize that there won't be much time left for any book reading. And of course it's very sad, since I surely missing out from a lot of fun reading. As for example the book The Friday Night Knitting Club, by Kate Jacobs, which is the story about an elderly lady and widow Anita who runs a knitting store together with the single mom Georgia in NY. This book has been laying on my armchair table for a while now trying to tempt me to read but without any real success. I have read the first chapter and it is truly enjoyable reading but I feel to restless to sit down and just read. About knitting and knitting cafées. The book has been a success in USA, already the first week it ended up on the 22nd place of the New York Times Bestseller list and when the book is going to be a movie Julia Roberts, who also is said to dig knitting, has the main characte. But for me this book has almost becoma a bad concious, so I have decided to put away this book. I'm planning to visit next StitchnBitch-café the 21d of March at Marias Garn and if You are going there then and are interested in reading this book then perhaps I could bring it over there?
