My small Rockefellas

Nu har jag mina egna små rockabillys här hemma. En före detta granne, som länge varit barnklädesdesigner på H&M, startade för något år sedan eget barnklädesmärke, Rockefella. Verkligen coola plagg i rockabillystil, dessutom i slitstark kvalité. Numera även med egen butik på Hornstull. I helgen var vi en tur till söder till Hattbaren, där maken fann två superfina fedoras. På vägen hem tog vi en sväng förbi Rockefellabutiken. Inredningen i den jättefina lokalen var 50-tals retro, och där fanns en mysig soffgrupp och leksaker för de rastlösa barnen. Alla barnen fick något plagg, med grannrabatt, och med oss hem hade vi även kul accessoarer. Efteråt var vi hungriga och till vår glädje hade vi upptäckt att vår favoritkines HO's ligger vägg i vägg med klädesbutiken. Ja, våra barn diggar stort sina nya rockabilykläder. Och det gör jag med. Antheas jeans är coolast i byxväg. Det är tur för Leo att hans rutiga skjorta är för liten för pappan, som annars skulle lägga rabarber på den. Det är accessoarerna som ger den fulländade looken. Hårsnoddarna med röda tärningar, jeanstärningsblinget, hängslena och Rockefellatatueringarna. Liksom de fulsöta lankiga trasdockorna. Nu är våra barn redo att tackla hösten i sann rockabillyanda.

Now I have my own small rockabillys at home. An ex neighgbour, long time child clothes designer for H&M, started an child clothes line a few years ago, Rockefella. Really cool garments in rockabilly style, in durable quality. Nowadays also with her own boutique in Hornstull, south Stockholm. This weekend we did a tour to Södermalm to Hattbaren, where husband found two super lovely fedoras. On our way home we checked out the Rockefella store. The interipor in the really nice premises was 50s retro, and there was a cozy group of sofas and toys for the restless children. All children got a garment each, with neighbour discount, and with us home we also had fun accessories. Afterwards we where hungry and to our joy we had discovered that our favourite chinese HO's, was wall to wall with the clothes store. Well, the children totally dig their rockabilly clothes. And so do I. Anthea's jeans are the coolest trousers. And Leo is lucky his checked shirt is too small for his father, who could make of with it. It is the accessories that prefects the look. The hairbands with red dices, the jeans dice blingbling's, the suspenders and the Rockefella tattoos. Like the ugly qute rag dolls. Now our kids are ready to tackle the autumn in true rockabilly spirit.
