Have long wanted to knit something out of Habu's yarns or designs. Now I have stashed up with the longed for kit 78, Kusha Kusha scarf. It's the scarf in merino, silk and stainless steel (!), which will give it an esoterisc flounce. Have chosen to make it in two brown shades near each other.
I've also stashed the kit 18 paper silk handbag which I'll be knitting in one beige coloured tread of linen paper and one thread of green/yellow Tsugumi silk. The Tsugumin can be found in such fabulously beautiful colours which can also be seen here and here. I believe this yarn would be really nice in smart scarfs. While we are in the paper track, why don't you check out these great home styling tings that can be made out of hand spun news paper yarn or to the kids out of paper pins.
Before I can put start with the Habu projects I must finish my ongoing yarn monster, at least it lookes like that in current form. It will be an Ash by Kim Hargreaves from Rowan magazine 36, in Kidsilk Haze in (the discontinued) colour Swish. The inspiration comes from here (ravelry link).
