Winter gloomines, etsy inspiration
Now that Leo has gone from almost no-words to three word sentences in just a some months it feels like it's time to upgrade his bed from baby to childs bed. But also this weekend we had to let go of the IKEA bed shopping plans since he has fever and is coughing (again). It's been so cozy to have him laying over my shoulder the whole weekend, but oh so difficult to knit like that.
I think I've never longed for spring-summer as much as this autumn-winter. Being able to spend time outdoors for hours without any planning, promenades along the waterside, have "fika" whenever we feel for it, have a picnic and run and play with the kids in a park or just chill out on the balcony.
But at least some etsy shopping gives a glimps of light in the midst of all dark grey. Such as this Iris seed pod neklace from Maggie J's etsy shop and this glass flower earrings from esdesign - which came with the post this week.

Treatments
Penicillin treatment on going. Yesterday did some NK-sales. Otherwise mostly at home the last days. Surfed etsy and found some cool shops. Petted my new snail brooche from La Fille du Consul's shop.
Brilliant Retro cardi project is going forward a bit slowly, I think. I'm workin on the first arm. After the cardi project I've promised to knit something for Leo. Perhaps a Solo. Last weeks I've admired my new Aura, as a piece of art. It will become a Aisilin.

Accordion Beret
Oooah, how cold the wind was today. The idea was to do some sledging with the children, make some errands in the city and of course "fika". But the 'sledge' remained unused over the trolley. I managed to do some really stiff poses in front of the camera though.
During the Christmas weekend I have knitted the "Accordion Beret" (Dragspelsbasker in Swedish)in the soft wool yarn Ombré from Östergötlands Ullspinneri in the colour browngreen, purchased at Garnhärvan. (I remember that also this qute shawl pin slipped into the shoppingbasket this time.)
Knits and Purls, some increases and decreases, doesn't sound advanced at all. But wow what a proffessional end-result, I think. It could have been purchased in any handicraft shop. The hat is a bit tight over my big head. But then it's staying on my head even when it's windy. And it doesn't matter too much if it gets looser with wearing.
